San Francisco, CA – Injuries & Delays Reported in Car Accident on I-80
San Francisco, CA (July 11, 2020) – An automobile accident reported on Friday evening resulted in injuries. At approximately 8:45 p.m., on July 10, the California Highway Patrol received a request for assistance regarding a traffic-related incident near Treasure Island Road.
Reports from the CHP show that a black 2018 Toyota Camry collided with a second vehicle on the eastbound side of Interstate 80 near the off-ramp for Treasure Island Road. Several victims involved in the crash were injured. EMS responded to the scene to provide medical treatment to injured victims. An undisclosed number of victims were transported from the site of the crash to local hospitals for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
