Clio, CA – Head-On Accident on CA-89 Leaves One Injured
Clio, CA (September 16, 2020) – An accident reported on Monday in the Truckee area left one person injured. At approximately 1:30 p.m., on September 14, the California Highway Patrol responded to the site of a collision on California State Highway 89.
According to reports, two vehicles were traveling on California State Highway 89 in opposite directions when they crashed head-on. The impact of the crash sent one of the vehicles into a tree on the side of the roadway near Whitehawk Drive.
At least one person involved in this crash was injured. The injured victims were rendered aid at the scene. An unknown number of victims were transported to area hospitals for further treatment of injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
