Clearlake Oaks, CA – Man & Son Killed in Crash on Walker Ridge Rd
Clearlake Oaks, CA (August 4, 2020) – An automobile accident on Saturday claimed the lives of two victims in the Clearlake Oaks area. On August 1, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Walker Ridge Road.
Reports provided by CHP troopers indicate that a 42-year-old man and a 7-year-old boy were riding on a 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle when they were struck by a 2016 Mazda CX5 at the intersection of Walker Ridge Road and State Highway 20.
The man was killed instantly in the crash. The young child and the driver of the Mazda, who was identified as 43-year-old Andrea Bales, were both rushed to Adventist Health Clear Lake for treatment. Authorities confirmed that the child passed away after arriving at the hospital. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
Our thoughts are with Andrea Bales at this time.
We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the families of the man and child killed in this accident.
